Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager in the Indiana/OH/ KY/WV region to lead engineering teams on high‑profile projects. The role involves oversight of engineers, financial monitoring, and acting as the client representative across transportation, infrastructure, and energy projects.

The candidate should have 15+ years of experience, a BS/MS in engineering, and a PE license with reciprocity in multiple states.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience overseeing engineers on complex plans and projects.
• PE registration required with ability to obtain PE in neighboring states.
• Experience working with state agencies and design-build is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in development of plans, financial monitoring, and serve as client representative.
• Lead projects with complex features and integrate engineering economics and risk analysis.
• Manage project objectives, budgets, and schedules across multiple offices/teams.
