Job summary

RETTEW is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer and licensed PE to lead our Transportation team in Region 1, based in Lancaster, PA. You will guide project strategy, mentorship, and client engagement while maintaining high leverage across RETTEW’s transportation portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active PE license in PA or eligible via reciprocity.
• Significant transportation engineering and project-management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop transportation engineers, designers, and PMs.
• Partner with Regional Director to set priorities and monitor performance.
• Provide leadership and technical oversight for transportation projects.
• Coordinate workload, staffing, and resources across offices.
• Monitor financial performance, forecasts, and metrics with PMs.
• Strengthen client and agency relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Development on proposals and client engagement.
• Promote standards, quality, and effective project delivery.
