Job summary

RETTEW is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer | Technical Lead to guide the technical delivery of traffic engineering services within our Transportation team in Pennsylvania. You will lead analyses, mentor staff, and develop practical, data-informed solutions for complex mobility challenges.

This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and client-facing activities across PA locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Active PE license in PA or eligible.
8+ years in traffic engineering.
Proven track in leading technical delivery.
Experience with traffic operations, impact studies, and signaling.
Proficient with traffic analysis tools (Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM).

Responsibilities

Lead and review traffic analyses, studies, and deliverables.
Mentor staff and guide project teams.
Develop technical approaches and ensure standards.
Collaborate with Project Managers, clients, and agencies.
Manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
Support proposals and business development.
