RETTEW is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer | Technical Lead to guide the technical delivery of traffic engineering assignments and mentor staff. The role blends hands-on analysis with leadership across projects, teams, and client relationships.

You will establish approaches, review deliverables, and ensure standards while collaborating with clients, PennDOT, and municipalities throughout Pennsylvania. This role emphasizes mentorship and continued growth within RETTEW's traffic practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Active PE license in Pennsylvania or eligible for PA licensure.
• Eight+ years in traffic engineering with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review traffic engineering analyses, studies, and designs.
• Mentor staff and share technical knowledge across teams.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and project managers to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop practical, data-informed recommendations to improve traffic operations and safety.
