Job summary

H&H in Boston seeks a Senior Roadway/Transportation Engineer to lead a growing transportation practice. You will helm multidisciplinary projects, ensure QA/QC, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships to drive strategic growth for the Highway Group and H&H’s transportation services.

We value a track record of technical excellence, project management, and client development, with a minimum of 15 years in design.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years of highway/interchange/ roadway design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or able to obtain within six months.
• Familiarity with MassDOT design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary transportation engineering projects and teams.
• Provide technical QA/QC for designs and analyses.
• Produce roadway designs for new and rehabilitation projects.
• Lead client meetings, proposals, and presentations; manage tasks and schedules.
• Coordinate with design team members and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project staffing.
• Oversee construction support, submittals, and RFIs.
• Contribute to business development and proposal writing.
