LaBella Associates in New York seeks a Senior Highway Engineer to manage transportation projects, oversee client relationships, and collaborate with market leadership to develop new business.

The ideal candidate will be technically adept in transportation engineering, hold a NY PE license, and have 15+ years’ experience in transportation/project management with a proven track record on NYSDOT/NYSTA projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 15+ years of transportation/project management experience.
• NY PE license required; additional state licenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees assigned projects.
• Participates in business development activities with clients.
• Prepares and coordinates proposals to secure work.
• Performs technical tasks: research, reports, design, specs, and plan preparation.
• Acts as primary client liaison to meet schedule, budget, and scope.
• Develops and strengthens key client relationships and serves as primary company contact.
• Manages and develops junior and mid-level staff.
