Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking a full-time mid-level Transportation Design Engineer in our Mountain West Civil Group. The role focuses on design and plan production for multimodal projects and coordinating with subconsultants to deliver construction documents.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of experience, and CO PE licensing (or ability to obtain within six months). Salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000. Benefits package described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience including roadway, highway, interchange, trail, or transit design.

Responsibilities

• Develop trail/roadway/intersection/interchange design criteria using applicable standards.
• Complete conceptual design layouts for trails, roadways, highways and interchanges.
• Develop conceptual design graphics and planning exhibits.
• Assist PM with data collection limits for survey, SUE, and geotechnical investigations.
• Model transportation designs using Civil3D and/or MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads.
