Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking a mid-level Transportation Design Engineer for our Greenwood Village office in the Mountain West Civil Group. The role focuses on transportation design, plan production, and modeling for multimodal corridors, roadways, highways, interchanges, and trails, with private, state, and municipal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college.
• 5–10 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Colorado PE license or ability to obtain CO PE within six months.
• Experience with Civil3D and/or MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads.
• Experience developing roadway plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects and manage budget/schedule.
• Proficient in MS Office for reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation design modeling for corridor, roadway, interchange, and trails.
• Develop design criteria and construction documents.
• Coordinate roadway design with other disciplines and subconsultants.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee plan production.
• Prepare project meetings agendas and minutes.
• Ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
• Assist with environmental studies input and right-of-way aspects.
