Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig seeks a mid-level Transportation Design Engineer for our Greenwood Village, CO office. You will lead roadway design, plan production, and modeling using Civil3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads across multimodal projects for public and private clients.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, coordinating with other disciplines, and preparing construction documents. The role requires a PE in Colorado and 10+ years in transportation engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree required.
• 10+ years transportation engineering experience.
• Colorado PE license required (or CO license within six months).
• Experience with roadway, highway, trail and transit design.
• Proficient with Civil3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria for trails, roadways, intersections, and interchanges.
• Create conceptual layouts for horizontal and vertical design.
• Produce design graphics for planning documentation.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines and subconsultants.
• Oversee junior engineers in roadway design and contract document production.
