Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in the Phoenix area. You will lead transportation structures design across freeway and highway projects, coordinating with discipline leads and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet project goals.
The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and a commitment to growth within a collaborative team.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in transportation structures design.
- 5+ years of leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
- 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
- Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
- Coordinate with other discipline leads.
- Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
- Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
- Knowledge and experience with standard bridge industry software.
- Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with clients.
