Consor is seeking an experienced Transportation Design-Build Manager to lead delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects from pursuit through closeout. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and serve as the primary client contact with transportation agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience delivering transportation infrastructure projects, including significant design-build experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proven experience managing large-scale highway, roadway, bridge, transit, or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of design-build project delivery methods, contract requirements, and transportation agency processes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project execution.
• Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality management practices.
• Demonstrated success managing client relationships and working directly with DOTs, municipalities, and public-sector agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation design-build projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and project closeout phases.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, constructors, subconsultants, and specialty contractors.
• Serve as primary client contact and foster relationships with transportation agencies, municipalities, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management activities.
• Direct design integration to ensure constructability and alignment with project objectives.
• Partner with construction leadership to identify innovative solutions to reduce cost and accelerate schedules.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and lead project execution.
• Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve goals.
• Lead project pursuit activities, including proposals, technical approaches, staffing plans, and interviews.
• Review contracts and manage contractual compliance, change orders, and claims avoidance strategies.
• Ensure adherence to company quality standards and agency requirements.
• Support mentoring and professional development of project managers and staff.
• Collaborate with business development to identify new opportunities.
• Promote safety, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Provide executive-level reporting on project status, financials, risks, and milestones.
