Job summary

Consor seeks a Transportation Design-Build Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects from pursuit through closeout, coordinating design teams, contractors, and agencies to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

You will mentor project managers and design managers, drive risk management, and support business development while championing safety and continuous improvement across project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience delivering transportation infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proven experience managing large-scale highway, roadway, bridge, transit, or transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of design-build delivery methods, contracts, and agency processes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-build transportation projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, constructors, subconsultants, and specialty contractors.
• Serve as primary client contact with transportation agencies, municipalities, and stakeholders.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management activities.
• Direct design integration to ensure constructability and alignment with objectives.
• Collaborate with construction leadership to identify innovative cost-saving solutions.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and provide leadership during project execution.
• Provide executive-level reporting on status, financials, risks, and milestones.
