Job summary

Consor is seeking a senior CEI leader to guide regional construction engineering inspection teams in Tennessee, from pre-construction through final acceptance for roadway, bridge and infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliance with contract documents, budgets, and schedules, and lead communications with stakeholders.

The role requires a BS in construction management, civil or environmental engineering, 10+ years of CEI experience, and strong writing and networking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum ten years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for CEI teams across Tennessee projects from pre-construction to final acceptance.
• Lead project execution to meet contract documents, budget, and schedule.
• Direct communications between project stakeholders and conduct progress meetings.
• Serve as project executive on multiple projects and oversee contract processes.
• Perform monthly CPM schedule reviews and approvals.
• Coordinate with owner representatives and contractor community to resolve challenges.
• Prepare documentation for final estimate submission throughout the project lifecycle.
