Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced Construction Engineering Inspection leader to oversee a regional CEI team in Northern Florida, from pre-construction through final acceptance of transportation projects. You will ensure adherence to contract documents, budgets, and schedules, implementing solid document controls and QA measures while coordinating with project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in construction management or related engineering, a PE license, at least ten years of CEI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or environmental engineering.
• PE license required.
• Minimum ten years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional CEI teams on DOT and municipal projects.
• Guide project execution per contract requirements and Consor procedures.
• Develop and pursue eligible, profitable local projects.
• Serve as project executive across multiple projects and regulate processes.
• Perform monthly CPM schedule reviews and approvals.
• Communicate with owners and contractors to resolve contract challenges.
• Manage admin staff for final estimate submission throughout projects.
