Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to monitor on-site activities, inspect materials, and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and contract documents for road and bridge projects. You will record field measurements, report production rates, and coordinate with the superintendent and agency personnel.

You will mentor junior inspectors, support documentation for the final estimate package, and may work nighttime hours as needed. A valid license and CEI experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Outdoor field work with exposure to weather and physical demands.
• Ability to perform complex measurements and calculations in the field.
• Experience in bridge and/or roadway CEI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document contractor work to ensure schedule and plans compliance.
• Perform measurements and calculations of completed work.
• Maintain daily activity reports including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct on-site material testing and create as-constructed sketches.
• Coordinate field work with administration and lead field staff meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in training activities.
