Job summary
Consor is seeking an experienced CEI leader to oversee regional construction engineering inspection teams in Northern Florida, from preconstruction through acceptance of major transportation projects. You will drive adherence to contract specs, budgets, and schedules, while guiding staff and coordinating with owners and contractors.
Ideal candidates will have a PE license, a B.S. in a construction-related field, and at least a decade of inspection experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, or related field.
- PE license required.
- Minimum ten years of construction inspection experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Must have valid driver’s license and pass required qualifications tests.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for regional CEI teams on DOT and municipal projects (milling, resurfacing, bridges, drainage, earthwork).
- Lead project execution in line with contract documents, budgets, and schedules.
- Guide staff in applying Consor procedures and policies and manage communications with stakeholders.
- Serve as project executive across multiple projects and manage CPM schedule reviews.
- Coordinate with owner representatives and contractors to resolve contract challenges.
