Job summary

Arvato seeks a Transportation Carrier Manager to lead North American logistics for multiple customers and warehouses. You will oversee transportation operations, manage a team, and ensure best-in-class delivery performance.

The role requires deep multi-location planning, KPI tracking, and optimization across ocean, parcel, LTL, and FTL modes. You will partner with customers and carriers to design effective solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10 years of multi-location operations and planning experience.
• 7+ years in transportation management, ideally in a multi-client 3PL.
• Proven leadership of high-performing logistics teams.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with TMS, Excel and Power BI.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience building an asset-based carrier strategy.
• Degree in management or logistics fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee North American transportation management and lead logistics professionals.
• Understand multi-client, multi-sector and multi-location networks.
• Optimize transportation solutions across modes (ocean, parcel, LTL, FTL).
• Establish, track and analyze transportation KPIs.
• Provide transportation leadership and solution design to customers.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost management strategies.
• Conduct carrier performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Support onboarding of new customers and carriers.
• Ensure carrier compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulations.
• Present financial impact of logistics changes to carriers.
• Serve as escalation point for day-to-day issues and maintain SOPs.
