Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Transportation Engineering Project Manager to lead highway, bridge, and transportation projects from our Wall Township, NJ headquarters. You will build client relationships with NJDOT, counties, municipalities, and other public-sector clients, guiding design through construction and managing scope, schedule, and budget.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license (NJ preferred or reciprocal), and 8+ years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred.
• PE license required (NJ preferred or through reciprocity).
• 8+ years of transportation/bridge design experience.
• Experience managing complex transportation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects including bridge rehab, bridge replacement, highway improvements, and infrastructure improvements from concept through construction support.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams of bridge, roadway, traffic, geotechnical, environmental, and water resources professionals.
• Serve as primary client contact with NJDOT, counties, municipalities, and transportation agencies.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality control, and client expectations.
• Coordinate design efforts and provide guidance on structural and transportation engineering solutions.
