French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the Highway & Traffic practice in Camden, NJ. You will oversee complex transportation projects, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and strengthen client relationships while ensuring delivery on schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of transportation engineering experience, a NJ PE license, and a track record of managing road/highway safety and Complete Streets initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey.
• 12+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience with project management responsibilities.
• Experience managing roadway, highway, traffic, intersection, and transportation improvement projects.
• Knowledge of NJDOT, PennDOT, county, and municipal design standards and procedures.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Experience leading proposals and supporting business development.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and planning concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Project Manager and Project Principal on transportation projects for local, county, state, and federal agencies.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall project performance.
• Oversee design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Provide quality control and ensure compliance with design standards and agency requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, utility companies, and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Lead proposal development, including scope, fees, and schedules.
• Support business development through networking and industry involvement.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff; support strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Participate in project interviews and marketing efforts to win new work.
• Provide construction support and field coordination as required.
• Monitor project finances and implement corrective actions to maintain profitability.
• Stay current with evolving transportation design standards and practices.
