Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Wall Township, NJ seeks an experienced Bridge Department Manager to lead the Bridge Department and act as Senior Project Manager on major transportation projects in the Northeast. This role oversees delivery, staff development, and client engagement with NJDOT, transportation authorities, and municipalities.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers, grow the department, and shape FPA’s bridge capabilities while expanding project portfolios and market

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required; PE license preferred or able to obtain in NJ.
• 15+ years in bridge/structural or transportation engineering with leadership.
• Experience managing complex bridge projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong client relationship and business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bridge Department leadership, project delivery, staffing, resources and quality.
• Serve as Senior/Project Manager on complex bridge and transportation projects.
• Provide technical leadership on bridge design, rehabilitation, replacement, and inspection.
• Mentor staff and support recruiting to grow the Bridge Department.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations to ensure delivery.
