Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a qualified Training role focused on developing and implementing transmission system operations training. The position involves classroom and on-the-job instruction, with an emphasis on practical, hands-on learning and the use of simulators to support competencies.

The role requires knowledge of EMS/DTS, NERC standards, and instructional design, plus strong communication and analytical skills. Travel to coordinate emergency response may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years experience in electric power distribution, transmission or generation.
• 4 years of experience as a System Operator preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a trainer in a formalized training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements training for Eversource transmission System Operations.
• Conducts System Operator Training program activities following training policies and procedures.
• Incorporates simulation into training and evaluates training requests.
• Represents training at meetings and conferences; supports emergency response coordination.
