Job summary

Kiewit Power Delivery is seeking a Mid Level Superintendent to lead field operations on high-voltage transmission and substation projects. You will mentor foremen, coordinate subcontractors, and drive client engagement across multiple sites under the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) framework.

You will oversee cost control, scheduling, and safety while growing junior superintendents and maintaining strong client relations on complex infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience with 3+ years in a leadership role on transmission or substation projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of progressive design-build or ECI models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution on high-voltage transmission and substation projects.
• Mentor and develop junior superintendents and foremen.
• Oversee subcontractor coordination and contract administration.
• Drive client engagement and represent Kiewit in planning and problem-solving meetings.
• Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents.
• Develop a program to maintain good client relations involving staff on site.
• Initiate and attend meetings with client for problem resolution and planning.
• Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily diary for record-keeping purposes.
• Ensure performance evaluations are completed in a timely fashion for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural or staff changes.
• Review and approve or reject promotions up to General Foremen.
