Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Project Manager to join our team in advancing high-level engineering design services for the power delivery sector.

The role focuses on managing a portfolio of transmission projects and expanding our business development initiatives. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in transmission design/management, with the ability to lead engineers and technicians and coordinate with clients while maintaining quality, schedule, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 4+ years of experience in Power Transmission Design.
• Ability to direct a team of Engineers & Engineering Technicians while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Knowledge of overhead & underground transmission facilities and integration into daily activities.
• Familiarity with industry standards (NESC, ASCE, IEEE).
• Proficiency with MS Office and common engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects in utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing.
• Manage engineering and financial aspects of multiple projects from 34.5kV to 500kV.
• Prepare scope and estimates for proposals and statements of qualifications.
• Develop project work plans and budgets to deploy staff effectively.
• Review and act on business metrics including backlog and revenue.
• Coordinate schedules for multiple concurrent projects and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide guidance for professional communication with stakeholders.
