Qualus Corporation is seeking a Senior Transmission Planning Engineer to support our remote US operations in the Transmission Planning Department. The role focuses on reliability and expansion studies, system impact analyses, and coordination with clients.

The ideal candidate has an ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 4–10 years of experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency with steady-state studies and load-flow tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as industry expert and provide technical direction for Qualus and clients.
• Lead and mentor consultants; assign, review, and plan tasks.
• Perform steady state studies and power system analyses.
• Generate System Impact Studies and Transmission Service Requests.
• Familiar with load flow software such as TARA, PSSE, PSLF, and Powerworld.
• Justify strategy and analyses with clear documentation and data.
