Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group provides engineering leadership for high‑voltage transmission projects. The Engineering Project Manager will guide the lifecycle from design through construction and closeout, while supporting field operations and client relationships.

The role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and mentoring staff. You will drive safety, quality, and innovation in line with QISG standards, reporting to the Engineering Director in the

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in electric utility engineering or management of high voltage projects.
• BS or MS in Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, civil, or structural engineering principles.
• Experience with ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, NEC, NESC codes and standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical goals with engineering and operations leadership.
• Act as technical lead through all project phases with field visits as needed.
• Manage engineering service providers and KPIs with senior leadership.
• Develop engineering controls and QA standards.
• Ensure internal docs meet requirements.
• Manage staffing and resource planning.
• Mentor and oversee training for engineering staff.
• Support business development via client meetings and proposals.
• Collaborate with Quanta Engineering OpU’s to drive work.
• Drive process improvements using new technologies and innovations.
• Promote safety, quality, integrity in department.
• Stay informed on industry trends and innovations.
• Represent QISG in industry forums and conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
