Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks an Engineering Project Manager - Transmission Line to lead engineering activities across the project lifecycle and support field operations, procurement, and stakeholder engagement. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost efficiency in delivering transmission infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in the electric utility industry performing engineering-related duties and/or management for high voltage electrical projects.
• ABeT-accredited engineering degree (B.S. or graduate) required or equivalent.
• P.E. license is preferred.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practice for electrical utilities, including codes and standards (ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NESC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operational leadership on technical goals and oversee engineering work.
• Act as a technical lead during conceptual, preliminary engineering, detailed design, construction, and closeout phases.
• Manage the performance of engineering service providers and review KPIs with senior leadership.
• Develop and implement engineering controls and quality assurance standards.
• Ensure internal technical documentation and standards meet company and customer requirements.
• Lead staffing initiatives and plan resources to support growth.
• Mentor and oversee training for engineering staff.
• Support business development through client meetings, proposals, and project planning.
