Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for Transmission Line work in the Tampa area. The role leads engineering teams, supports field operations, procurement, and stakeholder groups, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.

The position reports to the Engineering Director and requires a strong background in electrical project management, high voltage design, and cross-functional collaboration with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the electric utility industry performing engineering duties and/or management for high voltage electrical projects.
• B.S. or graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• P.E. license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operations leadership on technical goals.
• Act as technical lead through conceptual to closeout phases, including site visits as needed.
• Manage performance of engineering service providers and review KPIs with senior leadership.
• Develop and implement engineering controls and quality assurance standards.
• Ensure internal technical documentation and standards meet requirements.
• Plan staffing and resources to support growth.
• Lead and mentor engineering staff.
• Support business development through client meetings and proposals.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in engineering processes.
