Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group in Tampa, FL, seeks an experienced leader to head the Engineering PMO for Transmission Lines. The role provides enterprise-level governance, strategy, and capital project delivery across the platform.

You will mentor engineers and project managers, define workforce strategy, strengthen safety and quality controls, and partner with executive leadership to drive growth and execution certainty in high-voltage transmission projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in electric utility engineering leadership roles.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Strong governance, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.
• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering; PE license preferred.
• Experience with high-voltage transmission programs across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise leadership for the Transmission Line PMO.
• Establish and maintain governance across the full project lifecycle (concept through closeout).
• Oversee portfolio performance, dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, customers, and design partners.
• Develop staffing models and workforce strategy; succession planning.
• Mentor Engineering Project Managers and senior engineering leaders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance across projects.
• Set strategy for engineering service providers and design partners.
