Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions seeks an Engineering Project Manager for Transmission Line work to lead design and construction efforts across HV projects. You will mentor teams, manage external providers, ensure quality and safety, and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-value transmission solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in electric utility engineering or management for HV projects.
• BS or graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering work across conceptual, preliminary, detailed design, construction and closeout.
• Act as technical lead during project phases with client/site visits as needed.
• Manage performance of engineering service providers and review KPIs with leadership.
• Develop and implement engineering controls and quality assurance standards.
• Ensure internal technical documentation and standards meet requirements.
• Plan resources and staffing to support growth and project delivery.
• Mentor and oversee training for engineering staff.
• Participate in client meetings, proposals and project planning to support BD.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in engineering processes and methods.
• Represent QISG in industry forums and professional associations.
