Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions seeks an Engineering Project Manager for Transmission Line work. You will guide technical efforts across the project lifecycle, support field operations, procurement, and key stakeholders within Quanta. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time delivery while leveraging new technologies and industry best practices.

Bring 10+ years in electric utility engineering or management, an ABET-accredited degree, and ideally a P.E. license.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electric utility engineering or management for HV projects.
• BS or graduate degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operations leadership on technical goals.
• Act as technical lead across project lifecycle phases with site visits as needed.
• Manage performance of engineering service providers and KPI reviews.
• Develop and implement engineering controls and QA standards.
• Ensure internal documentation and standards meet requirements.
• Manage staffing initiatives and resource planning for growth.
• Lead and mentor training for engineering staff.
• Support business development through client meetings and proposals.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in processes and methods.
• Promote safety, quality, and integrity in the engineering department.
• Represent QISG in industry forums and associations.
