Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join the Power Delivery Team. The role offers flexible work arrangements, with remote option and office access across the Pacific region.

The position focuses on high‑voltage overhead line projects and leadership across planning, design, and delivery. You will guide technical analysis, design, and construction support while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multi-state preferred).
• 10+ years of post-education experience in electrical transmission design.
• Strong understanding of NESC, RUS, and GO-95; transmission line fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering leadership for transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Lead and support project layout, schedules, and client meetings.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and safety standards across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, scopes, and forecasts.
• Mentor staff and support business development and proposals.
