Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from one of our offices across the Southeast region. Preferred locations include Indian Land, SC; Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; Birmingham, AL; Richmond, VA; Atlanta, GA.

Provides technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV. Travel to client sites may be required as projects progress.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post-education experience in electrical transmission engineering.
• PE license required (multi-state preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PLS-CADD and transmission line fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop project schedules and manage client communications.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC adherence across projects.
