Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in high‑voltage transmission design.
• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• EIT certification.
• Strong communication as primary client contact and team lead.
• Willingness to onsite at Leidos or client offices; some travel.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple design teams on high‑voltage transmission projects and programs.
• Develop engineering talent through coaching and mentoring.
• Approve timesheets and participate in annual performance reviews.
• Create responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and define scope of work.
• Ensure schedule, scope, and budget adherence with PMs; drive project success.
