GFT is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead and oversee transmission line project designs, acting as a subject matter expert in engineering. You will guide client and internal discussions, drive project goals, and contribute strategic input to leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years of transmission line design, proficiency in PLS-CADD, and knowledge of relevant codes. Travel to client sites and mentoring responsibilities are included.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in transmission line design.
• In‑depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards related to transmission line design.

• Design transmission line segments using PLS-CADD or other structural design software.
• Develop design criteria documents and construction specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive construction packages, including structure details, material lists, staking tables, plan and profiles, and stringing charts.
