GFT is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join the Power Business Group. The role focuses on leading transmission line design, feasibility studies, and project coordination with clients and internal teams.

Hybrid work is available in multiple locations, and remote work may be considered for the right candidate. The successful candidate will mentor engineers, develop construction packages, and contribute to proposals and business development, leveraging strong design and writing

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in transmission line design.
• In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, NEC and related standards.
• High proficiency in PLS-CADD required.
• Experience in electrical utility consulting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design transmission line segments using PLS-CADD or similar software.
• Develop design criteria documents and construction specifications.
• Prepare construction packages with structure details, material lists, staking tables, plans, profiles, and stringing charts.
• Estimate project costs, resources and schedules.
• Write and review specifications per NESC/IEEE/NEC.
