Job summary

Bluegrass Stream LLC is seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to drive the design of high-voltage overhead and underground transmission lines from concept through construction in the Energy & Utilities sector.

You will lead technical design efforts, ensure compliance with industry standards, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality work for utility clients.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in power transmission line engineering (overhead and underground).
• Working knowledge of relevant codes/standards (NESC, IEEE, ASCE).
• Proficiency with transmission line design software (PLS-CADD).
• Leadership experience delivering high-quality technical work and collaborating across disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills for client and internal technical coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design efforts for transmission line projects using industry standards and engineering tools (e.g., PLS-CADD).
• Produce and oversee technical deliverables in accordance with NESC, IEEE, and ASCE requirements.
• Coordinate with multidiscipline teams and manage engineering interfaces.
• Interface with utility clients and support design reviews.
• Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical direction and quality assurance.
