Sargent & Lundy seeks a transmission design engineer to design lines from 69kV to 500kV, mentor design staff, and coordinate with clients. The role offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote, and a generous relocation package depending on location.

Required qualifications include a BS in an ABET-accredited program, 12+ years of transmission design, proficiency with PLS-CADD, and experience delivering scopes of work, conceptual designs, and calculations for

• 12+ years of transmission design experience.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
• Experience with transmission lines from 69kV through 500kV.
• Experience coordinating with clients and preparing calculations and specs.

Responsabilidades

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
• Mentor and train design team members.
• Coordinate design activities to meet specs, codes, and client requirements.
• Prepare reports and studies in line with S&L formats.
• Review work including calculations and line models in PLS-CADD.
• Adhere to Sargent & Lundy's System of Processes.
