Job summary

Ameren Transmission is seeking a Contractor Services Supervisor to oversee vendor-based construction crews for transmission line and substation projects. You will ensure adherence to contracts, enforce safety rules, and manage progress, budgets, and schedules across multiple sites.

The role requires field and office work with travel as needed, strong leadership, and a background in electrical transmission or heavy industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management related discipline preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in electric transmission or heavy industrial environment with supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project planning and design.
• Manage contractor crews for construction, maintenance and inspection of electric facilities.
• Set clear performance and safety expectations.
• Schedule, assign and direct work safely and efficiently.
• Maintain contact with contractor supervision to assess resources.
• Monitor budgets and schedules to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Provide cost tracking and construction timeline updates.
• Document scope changes and communicate with stakeholders.
• Enforce safety rules (LOTO, WPA) and company policies.
