Job summary

Ameren Transmission is seeking a Contractor Services Supervisor to oversee vendor-based line and substation crews, ensuring safety, quality, and contract compliance across projects. The role involves planning input, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination in a dynamic transmission environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management (or related), 5+ years in electric transmission or similar settings, and supervisory experience with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management related discipline preferred.
• Five+ years of relevant experience in electric transmission or heavy industrial environments; supervisory experience preferred.
• Journeyman line or journeyman substation experience preferred; utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project planning and design.
• Manage and evaluate contractor crews on construction, maintenance and inspection of electric facilities.
• Set clear safety and quality expectations through observations and audits.
• Schedule and direct work per contracts and agreements.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools and material needs with contractor supervisors.
• Monitor budgets and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Document scope changes and provide project updates.
• Ensure consistent enforcement of WPA, LOTO, and safety rules.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, stakeholders and other departments.
