Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) seeks a Transmission Construction Representative Senior SG8 to lead on-site construction activities for transmission lines and stations in Canton, OH or Saint Clairsville, OH. You will oversee safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with environmental, ROW, and procurement teams.

This role requires a Bachelor's or higher in Construction Management or related field with 6+ years of PM experience, or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Construction Management or related field with PM/construction experience.
• Civil and Electrical construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction site management for transmission projects to meet budget, schedule, and scope.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and conduct safety meetings with crews.
• Coordinate with environmental teams and contractors to comply with policies and permits.
• Review project documents and drawings; provide feedback to project teams.
• Develop material/equipment plans and coordinate deliveries to meet milestones.
• Assist in outage planning and coordinate resources for all phases of construction.
