Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to AEP policies and regulatory rules during construction/maintenance.
Develop construction and maintenance plans with measurable goals.
Provide training, guidance, and improvement initiatives for staff.
Promote professionalism, teamwork, and high standards.
Organize planning meetings for scheduling and work on equipment.
Make recommendations for employment actions and personnel decisions.
Direct personnel in performing duties per job descriptions.
Procure materials, tools, and equipment as required.
Ensure safe use of tools and equipment and supervise safety training.
Understand and apply labor agreements and handbook provisions where applicable.
