Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of the assigned location, ensuring delivery of annual business plans and compliance with client policies, ADA and FTA requirements.

You will manage customer relations, train staff, coordinate dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, safety programs, and budgets while maintaining strong communication with the client and internal teams. Availability for emergencies is expected.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of management experience in public transportation operations.
• Three or more years overseeing ADA complementary paratransit services of similar size.
• Knowledge of ADA paratransit requirements and FTA regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• CTTM certification or Transit Management Certificate or equivalent.
• College degree or equivalent business management experience.
• Labor/union negotiations/expenses expertise.
• Understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment and DOT/FTA compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relations and outreach to ensure service excellence.
• Identify, train, and mentor location staff.
• Communicate with staff and support teams regularly.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and fleet availability to meet service needs.
• Oversee safety and training programs to ensure compliance with ADA/FTA requirements.
• Maintain client contact to meet expectations and conduct audits.
• Review operational metrics daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Ensure location financial metrics are managed with action plans for targets.
• Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in labor relations activities and support contract renewals.
• Create and present annual budgets for locations.
• Maintain knowledge of ADA, FTA requirements and client policies.
• Lead contractor personnel and subcontractors to ensure safe, reliable service.
• Respond to service disruptions and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain communication with client's Project Manager on performance.
• Attend meetings and events as requested.
• Be available during business hours and for emergencies.
• Provide updated contact information for the Project Manager.
