Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Senior Transit Engineer or Project Manager to lead transit design efforts across the mountain west from our Denver area office.

You will manage projects from concept to construction, coordinate design teams, prepare calculations and reports, and support client development. Requires a BS in civil engineering, PE license, and 10+ years of transit experience; we offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong background in transit design (rail, BRT, or multimodal) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts from concept through ready-for-construction plans and cost estimates.
• Coordinate meetings and communications to resolve technical questions.
• Prepare calculations, reports, memos, drawings, and visual aids.
• Support project controls and documentation.
• Assist in client development and growth initiatives.
