Job summary

HNTB is seeking a DB Design Manager (Transit) to lead teams on nationally significant transit infrastructure projects. You will drive client engagement, oversee financial performance, and coordinate staffing across offices with travel to project sites.

The role requires extensive experience leading mega and super mega projects, collaboration with directors and managers, and a track record of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of experience, including 6+ years delivering mega/super mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and nurtures key client relationships and acts as the primary company contact on assigned projects.
• Manages financial performance including cash flow, budget, schedule, and scope to meet goals.
• Staffing: staff projects according to the Work Plan and supervise/mentor project staff and managers.
• Collaborates with leadership to staff projects and solve challenges to meet business objectives.
• Leads pursuits of mega projects and coordinates proposals, presentations, and client communications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
