Job summary

HNTB is seeking a DB Design Manager (Transit) to lead teams on nationally significant transit projects. This officer-level role requires extensive experience with contractors and a proven track record of guiding design teams from concept to completion.

The position supports a nationwide Design Build Organization, requires travel to project offices, and accountability for delivering quality work on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 12 years of relevant experience including 6 years leading mega/super mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages key client relationships and serves as primary company contact on projects.
• Oversees financial performance, cash, budget, schedule, and scope to meet goals and client satisfaction.
• Staffing projects by coordinating with leadership to assign resources per the project Work Plan.
• Collaborates with leadership to solve challenges and meet business objectives.
• Leads pursuits of mega projects, partnering with pursuit champions and preparing proposals and presentations.
