Job summary

KIPP Texas is seeking a State Registrar to ensure transcript accuracy across high schools and to drive the senior graduation clearance process. This role supports Deans with data workflows and coordinates with the SIS team to align graduation requirements with state mandates.

The State Registrar will oversee PEIMS data integrity, transfers, and the calculation of GPAs, while maintaining compliance with TEA rules. Hybrid work with some travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree required.
• Fluent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Three years of registrar experience or district-level data entry role.
• Knowledge of PEIMS regulations and Skyward recommended.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the transcript audit process across KIPP Texas schools.
• Serve as final decision-maker for senior graduation clearance and certify transcripts.
• Manage and log changes to transcripts outside standard windows.
• Oversee state-wide validation of credit recovery tracks across high schools.
• Support transfer credits and international transcripts interpretation.
• Maintain accurate student transcripts and GPAs in the SIS.
