Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a State Registrar to ensure transcript accuracy across its high schools and to maintain 100% accountability for PEIMS data. The role supports campus Deans, standardizes transcript processes, and certifies graduation compliance network-wide.

The State Registrar will handle data integrity, oversee grade-change workflows, verify transfer credits, and align graduation pathways with TEA requirements, reporting to the Regional Support and Leadership team.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
• Fluency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Three (3) years of experience as a middle or high school registrar, or a district-level position associated with data entry within a student information system.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the comprehensive transcript audit process across all KIPP Texas schools.
• Serve as the network's final decision-maker for the senior graduation clearance process, signing off on official transcripts.
• Manage and log changes to student transcripts outside the standard campus grade change window.
• Oversee state-wide validation and recording for credit recovery tracks across high schools in KIPP Texas.
• Coordinate transfer credits and international transcripts while maintaining accuracy in the SIS.
• Develop and coach deans to refine data management practices and transcript workflows.
