Job summary

University of Oklahoma is seeking a Transcript Evaluation professional to support the Registrar's Office with evaluating and posting transfer credits and credential evaluations for incoming and current students. This role requires accuracy, speed, and strong communication with OU Online admissions and on-campus departments.

You will maintain student records, ensure FERPA compliance, and collaborate with multiple teams to determine course equivalencies and transfer credit eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 12 months of office/clerical experience.
• Experience with transcript evaluation or university records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and post transfer and prior learning credit as part of the Transcript Evaluation team.
• Perform office duties in support of the Transcript Evaluation team.
• Maintain files indicating student progress, letters of recommendations, transcripts, etc.
• Contribute daily to a collaborative, positive, and supportive work environment.
• Follow all FERPA guidelines.
• Provide clear and concise answers to student, faculty, staff, and third-party questions related to transcript evaluation through the Transcript Evaluation email and department phone.
• Perform Credential Evaluation and post transfer coursework for all incoming degree-seeking and current domestic and international students, to include exercising judgment to determine course equivalencies.
• Assist colleges and departments in determining course evaluations and equivalencies.
• Assist the Admissions and Recruitment Team and the Transcript Evaluation Team with processing transfer transcripts for new degree-seeking transfer students as well as current OU students.
• Act as primary point of contact for undergraduate OU Online students' transcript processing.
• Serve as ancillary support to the Senior Credential Evaluation Coordinator with Study Abroad credit evaluation.
• Consult with Senior Credential Evaluation Coordinator and Assistant Registrar as needed.
