Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Transaction Services team within Financial Advisory. You will provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to meet clients' complex financial needs across a variety of industries.

Our client base includes private equity funds, banks, and publicly traded companies; you will interact with Partners, perform data gathering, financial analyses, and contribute to market development and recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred.
• At least three (3) years of relative experience in a mid-to-large size professional services firm.
• At least two (2) years of transaction services / due diligence experience highly preferred.
• Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus.
• Strong modeling and Excel skills with ability to generate data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management.
• Data gathering, document review and quality of earnings reports preparation.
• Research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for buy side, sell side, and corporate finance transactions.
• Communicate with clients to ensure delivery of high-quality service.
• Participate in marketing and recruiting activities of the firm.
• Seek career development and advancement within the transaction advisory services group.
