Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to lead front-end instructional design for Navy training products. You will transform technical information into structured content, develop learning objectives, scripts, and storyboards while collaborating with Government SMEs.

Role requires experience in instructional design, scriptwriting, and NAVEDTRA standards; security clearance of Secret is required.

Qualifications

• Clearance Required: Secret
• Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training development.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into learning solutions.
• Strong scriptwriting and storyboard development skills.
• Experience collaborating with technical SMEs to validate content.
• Knowledge of NAVEDTRA standards and training development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design activities and work with Government SMEs.
• Develop, map, and validate learning objectives to Navy training requirements.
• Write instructional scripts for interactive/web-based training and develop detailed storyboards.
• Coordinate with multimedia developers to ensure alignment with NAVEDTRA standards.
• Review products through SME, QA, and government feedback cycles.
